In the modern tradition, I had once again forgotten to make up my Christmas List until my mom reminded me about a week ago. I keep forgetting that, regardless of age and distance, people will still care about me and maybe want to get me something. I'm not sure why every time, around this time of year, I start thinking less of myself... like maybe I don't deserve anything. Well, maybe I don't, but that wont stop others from maybe getting me a thing or two...

In that regard, same guidelines apply as always: Christmas is about Family and Friends, not about Presents... so don't feel inclined to get me anything at all, especially if it's not on this list. I am Socially Inept, so if you get me something not on this list 1) I probably wont like it and 2) I wont be able to fake that I do like it if that happens. Feelings hurt, or no, I'm not going to pretend to like it if I don't, not even to make you not get mad at me for not liking it. I stop doing that years ago. You make a bad call on getting me a gift, and you have to live with it. You get me something I really want, and I'll be just as happy with that gift as I would be unhappy with a gift I don't want. It's just that simple.

Also, while DVD's are cheap, that doesn't mean I wont enjoy them. I've put down a ton on this list, and some of them are budget titles. Just remember, I hate FullScreen! Ahem. Unless it's Anime, or some old TV Show that only broadcast in old, 4:3 Ratio... I want Widescreen. I want the whole movie... and someday soon, when I have an HD Set, I'll be able to enjoy it without black bars... but black bars do not bother me, and I would rather have the whole movie than have it chopped and have to buy it again later.

You'll see more games and accessories on this list than the last two years or so. A new Nintendo just came out, and I've missed buying a couple of PS2 games due to moving into a new apartment. On top of that, it's the end of a generation, so I've also slapped onto this list a couple of older games I don't have but that should be pretty cheap. Used Games are not a problem with me, so long as you have the info for me to return it should it me all scratched to heck.

That about wraps up my intro for this year. Like I said, it's not about the gifts... so if you can't find something on this list to get me, are insulted by the very idea that I wont fake liking something I wont, or if you don't really have the cash to spare to get me something, then don't. You're not going to hurt my feelings one bit. Seriously. If I can't scrape together the money to get everyone something, then I can't be mad if not everyone gets me something either... and this year, I'll have about $200 to get about a dozen people gifts, if I'm lucky, so there will likely be lots of people I wanted to get gifts for and be unable to...

But, like I said, Christmas is not about the gifts...
