About Last Game has changed a lot over the years. We use to not have a definitive place to throw up our thoughts at all, just posting from time to time on a very old board you might have stumbled across while looking for this one. Some time later, I added the first ALG a during Becky and Josh's Shadows on the Mountain Chronicle and again during Rick Huffman's Sept of the Golden Claw. Right at the end of the run of Sept of the Golden Claw, EZ Board (our host at the time) was cracked and crashed, and all of EZ Board was lost to the void. So, we picked right up and continued from Sept of the Golden Claws's last games, and each Chronicle has had it's own Forum for About Last Game. Sept of the Bitten Tongue into War's Respite, into Randy and William's two Games, and now on into our new Chronicle "Existence Denied". Our Message Board currently houses two distinct forms of discussions of "last game". Each game has two headings... for example: "G16-May17-2008 About Existence Denied's Sixteenth Game (05/17/2008)" and "G16-May17-2008 Summary of Existence Denied's Sixteenth Game (05/17/2008)". The first (About) is the place for all Out of Character Discussion on the events or rulings of that particular game. The second (Summary) is the place for In-Character or Out of Character recollections of the In-Character happenings of that game. About Last Game should be a place for all us Players and Storyteller/s to be able to come together and discuss what went on in previous games, between games. As a Storyteller, I cannot "fix" your problems with Game if you do not tell me what they are. Also, when no one complains, I always think that there are problems that people are having that they are either afraid to mention to me for backlash or that I just outright wont listen. Neither of these things are the case, so please post your thoughts. In addition, me and whatever AST's I may have at the time will be able to reply to you or just share our own opinions about Game. Besides, just posting gets you another Experience Point for your character. Any Summary of Last Game should include you or your character's views of the events of that Game. This will help to keep a log of all that has gone on in games of the past, and also be a place for people who missed that game to be able to catch up with what's going on... or even for new Players to look all the way back on what's happened and see how our story has progressed over time. Also, you get Four Kudos (Player Points) for posting a Summary of Game. Do note that as of March 2008, all About Last Game and Summary of Last Game (even retroactively added ones) are open all the time. I've created a new numbering and title system so the games should be obvious even scattered around which ones you are looking for... and direct links to them shall be on the website shortly if you're looking for a list in Chronological order. This allows you to go back and get Experience Points and Kudos Points for much older Games or for if you missed talking about a Game for any length of time. Please remember that nothing you say on the boards will get you in trouble with me as Director of Game. Yes, the Strike system still exists out there somewhere, and no, you shouldn't go on some swearing tirade against a Storyteller or fellow player... but critique can have many negative and positive things without being vulgar or purposely hurtful. Just bare this in mind when posting. We're all adults here, so there should be little to hurt our feelings. We do play a Mature Role-Playing game where people die, get raped, or worse, all the time.
